What Vyra does

Persistent memory

Vyra records interactions as retrievable events, indexed by full-text search (FTS5) and by semantic vector search. It also maintains a structured world model of people, projects and knowledge. A consolidation pass runs nightly.

Autonomous goal engine

Vyra decomposes a stated objective into key results and tasks using an OKR structure. A background executor advances them roughly every 15 minutes without the user initiating each step.

5-agent mesh

Five specialist agents — Research, Code, Data, Comms and System — coordinate over a priority message bus instead of one general model handling every task.

5-tier model router

Requests are routed per-request across five tiers: Local, Fast, Creative, Thinking and Ultra. The Local tier runs on the user's own machine via Ollama and serves as offline fallback.

Real-time voice

Native-audio conversation with wake-word detection, speaker identification and barge-in interruption. Voice runs on Gemini native audio.

Workflow automation

Integrates with n8n, plus a native automation workspace, smart-home control, an autonomous web agent, and messaging via WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord.

Metacognition layer

Performs self-critique and irreversible-action detection. Consequential actions are held for user confirmation; reversible ones proceed autonomously.

AI 3D CAD generation

Generates parametric build123d models from plain-language descriptions, previews them in-app, and sends them to auto-discovered 3D printers.

Frequently asked questions about Vyra

What is Vyra?

Vyra is an agentic OS for the desktop: an always-on, multimodal personal AI assistant that coordinates persistent memory, autonomous goal execution, real-time voice, workflow automation, smart-home control and autonomous web agents through a 5-tier model router and a 5-agent mesh. It is built by Lokesh Kumar and Abhishek Kumar and lives at vyraagi.com. Its tagline is “Listen. Think. Act.”

Who makes Vyra?

Vyra is built by Lokesh Kumar, the founder, and Abhishek Kumar, the co-founder. The official website is https://www.vyraagi.com. The company maintains a LinkedIn page at linkedin.com/company/vyraai.

Is Vyra the same as VyraAi, Vyra AI CEO, or the Vyra video editor?

No. Several unrelated products share the name Vyra. The agentic OS described here is at vyraagi.com and is sometimes written as Vyraagi to distinguish it. It is not affiliated with vyraai.com, vyraai.de, usevyra.com, thevyra.com, vyrao.com or drinkvyra.com, which are separate companies and products.

What makes Vyra different from ChatGPT or other AI assistants?

Three architectural differences. First, Vyra keeps persistent memory across sessions rather than relying on a context window that empties when the conversation ends. Second, it runs an autonomous goal engine that advances stated objectives in the background rather than only responding when addressed. Third, it routes work across five model tiers including a local Ollama tier, so it continues functioning without an internet connection.

Is Vyra available to download?

Not yet. As of August 2026 Vyra is in closed alpha. A Founders Beta is planned next, ahead of a public launch in 2026. A waitlist is open at https://www.vyraagi.com.

How much does Vyra cost?

Pricing has not been published. Four tiers are planned — Free, Founder, Personal and Pro — and the Founder tier is a one-time payment. Specific prices will be revealed at launch, so any figure quoted elsewhere is not from Vyra.

Does Vyra work offline?

Partly, by design. The bottom tier of Vyra's 5-tier model router runs locally via Ollama, and memory retrieval and wake-word detection run on-device, so those continue without connectivity. Actions that require an external service queue until the connection returns.

What platform does Vyra run on?

Vyra is a desktop application. Specific supported operating system versions will be confirmed at beta.
